Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this class for?
This class is designed for driven professionals (ages 25â50+) who are serious about solving chronic pain, posture issues, or movement inefficiencies. Most attendees have already tried PT, massage, or intense fitnessâbut havenât found lasting results. Whether youâre in pain, plateaued in performance, or want to feel more capable in your body, youâll benefit.
Do I need to be fit or flexible to attend?
Not at all. This class is beginner-friendly and designed to meet you where you are. You’ll be guided through gentle posture work, movement assessments, and myofascial release techniques in a small-group format. No burpees, bootcamp vibes, or forced stretching here.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in (gym or yoga wear is great). Bring a water bottle and an open mind. We provide all necessary equipment for hands-on work.
Is this a workout class?
Noâthis is not a fitness class, but you will be moving. Itâs a hands-on workshop blending education, movement drills, and myofascial release. Youâll learn the âwhyâ behind your pain, the mechanics of better movement, and walk away with tools to feel better right away.
What makes this different from physical therapy or personal training?
Most traditional approaches treat the symptomsâtight hips, sore back, weak glutes. We target the root cause: how your body moves as a system. Functional Patterns focuses on posture, fascia, and integrated movement to create change that actually lasts.
Will I be pitched something at the end?
We do offer a discounted follow-up for anyone who wants to take the next stepâlike a personalized 1-on-1 movement assessment. But thereâs no pressure. The goal of this workshop is to educate and let you experience the difference for yourself.
Can I bring a friend or spouse?
Absolutely. Just be sure they reserve their spot in advanceâspace is limited to 10 participants.
